About us

Lidia Stanek Wichlińska is a graduate of the Wrocław Academy of Fine Arts where she studied Sculpture, Ceramics and Glass designs. For many years together with Marcin Wichliński Lidia has been co-creating their glass studio and the trade mark: stanek.wichliński art & design. They live and work surrounded by nature.
Their art is a kind of a memo – a trace of time and space they experience

in a given moment. It is on the edge of art and design, with conviction that

the creation is an imitation of the essence of the world. They value glass as a mean of communication for its plasticity and complexity; for its synergy with light,
for classic yet modern character. Operating with colour, structure and transparency they create untold stories captured in the glass paintings and applied art objects.
They use the fusing technique. It has been known for centuries and it is still popular to form artistic glass objects that find themselves perfectly in our modern interiors.
